NeuralVillage
Building this together

Partners powering
the village.

Accessible brain health is a team sport. These are the technology, research, academic, government, and cultural partners building NeuralVillage with us — each one extending what's possible for the communities we serve.

Lead Technology & Education Partner
MathWorks

Global leader in mathematical computing — powering NeuralVillage hackathons, university collaboration, and student access to MATLAB.

MathWorks joins NeuralVillage as a lead partner, primarily supporting our hackathon events and deepening collaboration with universities across Nigeria and beyond. They will provide MATLAB licenses that let students explore modules, prototype neurotechnology applications, and build on open technology standards. Together we're integrating MATLAB into the NeuralSpace learning pathway and co-developing training resources that help students move from first ideas to working brain-health tools.

Lead Hackathon Event Partner
NMC

An agency of the Federal Ministry of Education — hosting and co-delivering the National Neuroscience Technology Hackathon, every year.

The National Mathematical Centre (NMC), an agency under the Federal Ministry of Education, Nigeria, is the lead event partner for the National Neuroscience Technology Hackathon. NMC hosts our opening ceremony at its Kwali campus, grounds the programme in Nigeria's national mathematics and science education mission, and has committed to making the hackathon an annual event — building a lasting national pipeline for neurotechnology talent across the 19 northern states and the FCT.

Brain-Computer Interface Technology

Pioneers in non-invasive EEG and brain-computer interfaces — powering the hardware behind every NeuralVillage screening.

g.tec provides the medical-grade EEG and BCI systems that make our community brain-health screenings possible. Their decades of research into neural signal acquisition, real-time decoding, and clinical-grade hardware let us bring laboratory-quality assessments out of hospitals and into the communities that need them most. Together we're adapting their platforms for low-resource clinical settings across Nigeria — calibrating workflows, training local technicians, and co-developing protocols that reflect the realities of community care.

Academic & Curriculum Partner
ABU

Home to West Africa's first Neuroscience Technology BSc — co-designed with NeuralVillage to train the next generation of brain-health practitioners.

Ahmadu Bello University in Zaria is partnering with NeuralVillage to launch the first Neuroscience Technology BSc degree programme in Nigeria and West Africa. Together we're designing the curriculum, clinical placements, and hands-on EEG and BCI laboratories that will prepare a homegrown workforce of neurotechnologists, clinical scientists, and researchers. The programme bridges classroom learning with real community screenings, ensuring graduates are equipped to deliver brain-health care where it's needed most — and seeding a lasting research and clinical ecosystem across the region.

Decentralized Data & Verification Partner
XYONETWORK

The truth layer for real-world data — bringing verified, on-chain proof to NeuralVillage's community brain-health ecosystem.

XYO Network provides the decentralized infrastructure that turns real-world events, assets, and locations into verified, immutable proofs. For NeuralVillage, that means we can anchor the chain of custody for brain-health devices, confirm the provenance of equipment used in community screenings, and add transparent verification to the research and logistics data that underpins our work. Together we're building a more trustworthy, auditable brain-health ecosystem — one where clinicians, partners, and the communities we serve can rely on every data point.

Venture & Innovation Partner
SHORTCIRCUITVENTURES

A venture studio at the frontier of AI agents, tokenization, and the ownership economy — backing NeuralVillage as both investor and builder.

ShortCircuit Ventures is a venture studio that finds opportunities before they have names, builds fast enough to own the niche, and ships products that challenge how things are supposed to work. As a strategic partner, they bring capital, product-building muscle, and frontier-market thinking to NeuralVillage — helping us move at startup speed while designing for civilization-scale impact. Together we're exploring new models for funding, ownership, and distribution that can make brain-health access sustainable and community-owned.

Government & Policy Partner
KDSG

Championing brain health governance and anchoring the Nigerian Brain Health Data Initiative across Kaduna State.

The Kaduna State Government is partnering with NeuralVillage to advance brain health governance and drive the Nigerian Brain Health Data Initiative (NBHDI). Through policy alignment, state-level data systems, and public health infrastructure, Kaduna is helping turn community brain-health screenings into actionable population insights — and proving that state leadership can accelerate equitable access to neurological care.

Youth Access & Sports Partner
FCTA

Expanding brain health access to young people across the Federal Capital Territory — powered by the FCT-Abuja Youth Parliament network.

The FCTA Youth and Sport Development Secretariat is partnering with NeuralVillage to increase access to brain health facilities for youth in Abuja and beyond. Through Japhet Kineze's role as Speaker of the FCT-Abuja Youth Parliament and Chairman of the Committee on FCT-Abuja for the Nigerian Youth Parliament, this partnership opens direct access to a network of over 1 million youth under the age of 35 — connecting young people with screenings, education, and care pathways that meet them where they are.

Cultural Neuroscience & Creativity Partner
Dr. Ladi KwaliFOUNDATION

Bridging arts, humanity, and technology to understand the creative brain — and deepen the cultural roots of NeuralVillage.

The Dr. Ladi Kwali Foundation partners with NeuralVillage to explore how cultural expression and creativity shape brain function. Founded by Japhet Kineze to bring technology and innovation to his city, the Foundation opens a bridge between arts, humanity, and technology — feeling like a grassroots movement that embodies the legacy of the famous Dr. Ladi Kwali while turning a new chapter to invite innovation. NeuralVillage was a core incubated project developed from the Foundation, and this partnership continues to ground our scientific work in cultural context and creative practice.
